All of the appliances are junk nowadays. All made to not last. Whirlpool is the only remaining halfway decent appliance. HH Gregg is the biggest scam nowadays. They bait and switch products.
Sears used to do HVAC and appliances. They lost consumer trust. They started paying their managers 6 figures that had no clue on servicing or managing. The managers were PC and Sears refused to pay the real money makers... the hard working guys serving the HVACs and appliances. Too many chiefs not enough indians and they wouldn't pay the indians the money they deserved.

Sears & Kmart are in a death spiral and have been for many years due to incompetent leadership. Eddie Lampert is an absolute disgrace.
They just closed the local Sears around here 2-3 years ago. And closed a local Kmart last year.
There's still one remaining Kmart around here (I went to it back in December), but I'd imagine it's just a matter of time.

I can see why Trump would be pissed over this political BS, because at least half the companies that are pulling this shite are struggling and are going to benefit from his corporate tax plan. Too bad he can't pick and choose.

If y'all have seen the Halloween episode of South Park where Randy buys a Blockbuster Video store; that's how the Kmart in my town is.
