Russia Withdrawing Troops Near Kyiv. Is a Strategy To Tactical Nuke Kyiv

Don’t be surprised if Putin uses a tactical nuke soon in the suburbs surrounding Kyiv after announcing forces to withdraw. What this means is Ukrainian troops will now take back these small suburbs surrounding Kyiv. Thus leaving 20,000-40,000 Ukrainian troops susceptible to a quick nuclear strike.

No one is using nuclear weapons in Ukraine. What would Russia even gain from such a monumentally stupid decision?

It’s a plausible scenario. Withdraw your forces to make sure they are not in the blasts radius. Make your enemy concentrate forces together. Nuke them. Move back in and take Kyiv

I’ve seen this speculation elsewhere, but I can’t imagine Russia would go from moderate (maybe even minimal) shelling of urban areas straight to tactical nukes. I think you’d see general artillery first.

Let's hope not. Lots of people saying Putin is not well in the head, though. Things would quickly escalate to a point that is probably irreversible. You know, MAD and all. I'm old. I've a good life. But I want my granddaughter to also have a lengthy good life.

It’s actually not a plausible scenario at all. Russia actually wants the land. They aren’t nuking Ukraine. A bioweapon would kill the people and leave the wealth they want in tact. If you want to concern troll use that.

The Russian military doctrine allows for use of tactical nukes if losing a conventional war. I think we may all not understand what a tactical nuke is. Instead of it being a city killer bomb, it would only devastate a half mile radius.

Putin has been extremely successful at keeping the West out of this conflict. If you talk about dropping a nuke, let alone actually dropping one, the West will come down on him with extreme fury.
