No, but they are meaningless side shows. It's just something you put up with.

You think Syria is a meaningless sideshow? Do we discount the tens of thousands killed and millions displaced from their homes as a meaningless sideshow? Is the cost of guaranteeing Europe's defense virtually all by ourselves a meaningless sideshow?

You should read a book or two. What about Iran? Do they pose a real threat or potential threat to us?

We don't need to be best friends with Russia but there's absolutely no reason we can work together on mutual interests that benefit both countries.

The media and Obama administration is building Russia up into some giant boogeyman. Funny how Russia was a fly on the world's arse a year ago but now that Trump won they're the biggest threat to our freedom and way off life.

Well i mean Mattis literally said they are our largest threat in his hearing the other day...so lay it at Obama's feet all you want..... Not to mention Romney in that election.

Basically you're kinda just wrong.

Why I want to buddy up to Russia.

ISLAM. MUSLIMS. I also respect a strong nation with a strong leader that won't put up with the lawlessness and anti-americanism the left has forced upon us...

It's not about being buddy buddy. It's about cooperating to get shite done. Also, that's not a country we want to come to blows with. The fallout, literally, would be biblical for both sides.

In regards to Russia, are we in a weaker or stronger position than eight years ago.
How will Trumps plan to boost our military affect that position.
