Russia tells EU and Arab nations to pay for Syria reconstruction

Putin is such a boss. He's basically going to get the EU (so mostly NATO countries) to pay for this:

Will these war torn countries ever rebuid the way Europe rebuilt after WW2? Wonder if that's possible.

The US taxpayer of today is quite different than the one of the 1940s-50s. We're not going to be willing to pay for that.

Jeez. read between the lines. Bulk of EU budget comes from Germany, France, Italy, Spain and Benelux countries. And then he requests that Turkey also pay for reconstruction. So that's basically a backdoor way for the European NATO countries to pay for his war.
