What I have always found weird about this story is why the DNC refused to let the Obama led justice dept and FBI look at that server. Why would you deny the preeminent investigative agency in the country access and instead run it through a private business instead? My only conclusion is that there was stuff on that server that DNC officials did not want the FBI to see. I'd be willing to bet it is was a lot more damning than the stuff that got released.

You are one ignorant, bore-sighted, trumpkin troll. Do you really think this entire case is entirely built upon the Crowdstrike report? Which, by the way, maintained the essence of its conclusions. Do you think that?

Keep chortling clown. Because your little dream is going sideways fast.

Lets not forget some of the details for why they walked it back.

The tools used to indicate fancy bear were old versions that at the time of the phishing (if that ever actually happened) were something like three patches behind the most recent and were available to non state actors. FancyBear is more than capable of covering it's tracks so indications based on IP addresses are ludicrous in the extreme. And since this all came out, Wikileaks published the CIA's handbook on how to make any attack look exactly like this to divert blame to the russians.

The idea that the DNC could only have been hacked by Putin and friends is absurd. I'm not saying it wasn't russian hackers, but there are russian hackers groups who are billion dollar plus entities at this point. They have the people to do anything they want to do. State actors have the ability to send armies of average hackers at you from every angle all day every day. But one gifted hacker can be more effective than that army. And almost nothing is more effective than an insider. Which it usually is in these cases where large numbers of files are lost.

Wikileaks made it clear that they were given the DNC file IN PERSON IN WASHINGTON DC. And Assange almost admitted in an interview that it was Seth Rich that did it.

Occam's Razor folks...

Yes it is.

That's where all the evidence came from. The FBI said so.

You're a fricking moron, and watching you flail is hilarious.

Seth Rich completely misunderstood what they meant by "firing offense".

DNC probably didn't want the FBI to have their hands on their shady dealings.

Oh well. I give up hope. Since the only way for intelligence agencies to conduct cyber threat analysis is through physical forensic examination of the receptive end-user, I guess we should all just drop this charade. Sorry for wasting your time with my lies, Bengal.

At least it's Friday.

Why? I mean I'm pretty embarrassed that we had a childish egomaniacal boob with questionable associations unwittingly helped to the presidency by our chief adversaries, but these things tend to work out. We'll get em next time.

You with me?

Now back to the Russians narrative.

How?

Clarify that for me. Because if you're saying that it was the Russians that got the DNC emails, you have no proof to back that up. Zero. That's just paranoia at this point. But even so, nothing in those emails was faked. The DNC did it to themselves. They fixed the election to keep Bernie out, and they didn't have their email system locked down securely. That's on the DNC and nobody else.

If you want to bitch about someone helping Trump get the presidency by affecting the election, there's really only one person who deserves that title, and he's now looking for a job.

Oh we'll see. You can believe that.

Until then, as you said, don't worry about it. All smoke and mirrors. Enjoy your weekend.
