They are fricked no matter what.

They decided, instead, to frick back.

Who should they have voted for then?

Who courted the white, rural vote? HRC?

Why don't you answer my question?

Who should they have voted for then?

Who actually had their interests at heart?

Clinton. I wasn't a fan either, but she would have been a better choice. I mean, I guess if they wanted their health care taken away, Trump was an excellent choice.

Next.

This. The land of the free happens to also be the land of the jailed. If we would quit drawing lines in the sand over race and attempt to address this problem as Americans, we may actually get something done.

Not gonna happen. That would require personal responsibility.

Why is high incarceration rates a "bad" thing? If we have that many people breaking the law, putting them in jail isn't bad.

We need to look at why so many people are breaking the law (culture, unemployment, etc.)

It's a horrible thing because it only makes people worse off in life. No "debt is paid" to society (a bullshite phrase if there ever was one, it costs us more money to house them), and at the end people generally come out of prison worse than when they came in. We have among the worst recidivism rates (if not the worst) of all first world countries. It's nothing but a losing situation.

Of course, you are right that the cause is more important than the reaction, but there's no reason both can't be worked on.

That statement would have credence if made by a Trump voter but you're not, so you really don't know jackshit about how we feel.

Theres the whole innocent before proven guilty thing too...

This was taken from PRE trial diversion- i.e. people not convicted yet.

The ONLY reason they should be locked up is if they are a flight risk. Pretrial incarceration is meant to enaure they show up to trial, not punish them.

Clinton.
The one they saw as an elitist who was in the same party who completely ignored them for the previous 8 years?

The one that told white people to stop talking and listen to minorities?

The one who was a perfect representation of everything that encompasses DC?

I swear, it is no wonder Democrats keep losing this voting bloc. Y'all are incapable of understanding them at all.

You really don't get that they were fed up with the status quo, do you?

Controlling for all things, that may be accurate. But the greater point is that we are the incarceration capital of the world, per capital, regardless of race.

Old Thread Worth Perusing

If you believe that, then why wasn't the movement "All Lives Matter" instead of BLM?

No, I was talking about the candidate that made fun of people with disabilities and talked about grabbing women by their pussies.

Yes the one that literally called them deplorable, racist, sexist, xenophobic, and homophobic.

He was also the candidate who said whatever he wanted without suffering any retribution. The candidate that proclaimed an America first stance. One who promised to bring jobs back. Who focused on them, not ancillary social justice positions.

He said exactly what they wanted to hear and they ate it up. Now he has to deliver or they'll toss him out as well.

Doubtful. They won't toss him out, although he'll continue to accomplish nothing. As long as he keeps supplying Moutain Dew at his rallies, Cletuses will be all in in 2020.

So not incarceration rates, just rates of pretrial incarceration.

Wow, this OP looks worse and worse with every passing minute. Do better, OP!
