I'm actually not directly comparing them. I've said that Trump's order is constitutional multiple times.
All I am saying is that Trump supporters using "Obama did it!" as a reason to ignore Trump's lies and/or any overreach is ridiculous and illogical.

Because it is the very reason Trump is able to use the EO like he has. The dem hypocrisy knows no bounds. Your are right in the sense that two wrongs don't make a right but you also have to understand what was good for the goose is also good for the gander.
I am hopeful one day our government will get back to running the way it was intended but I don't think I will see it in my lifetime.
