Explains the cancelling of student debt, capital gains, overtime rules change and other big news items the last few days to try and bury this.

What's the chances the Federal Reserve uses the crashing GDP to warrant interest rate cuts right before the home stretch of the 2024 election in a desperate bid to save the installed president and the D.C. Uniparty Globalists.

Not likely as long as inflation is lingering.

The last inflation report increased cause of car insurance and gas.

I'm going to disagree with that a bit. Almost all energy increased and car insurance increased, but there are other categories with similar reaches which also increased as much or higher (vehicle repairs, media purchasing/subscriptions and medical insurance for examples). LINK

Also, many other things also increased. CPI is a weighted statistic which may not always accurately reflect what the average consumer is feeling each day.

How does the fed have any control over that with rates?

That's a bit of a flawed question. Rates are a macro level tool to fight inflation. Inflation is the effect of too much money chasing too few goods and services. It's not a tool to address inflation of only specific goods or services.

Healthcare is a huge problem too
That shite shouldn't cost more than a cellphone bill
I saw that shite when I got out of active duty and immediately went reserve.
I will either refuse to pay for insurance or not have it if I get out fully

Tldr: certain costs in our society are why commerce is down too

Well these fricks in DC believe they can cook the books for as long as they are printing the money.

The same as living an extravagant lifestyle while racking up debt, it eventually crashes down around you...

When it does, I hope it is painful enough for some real change in this country...

This is the new routine -

put out a rosy economic report - let the media and Bidenidiots run with it for a few weeks - hold celebretory press conferences - then go back in the basement for a while as the real facts become undeniable - while the media ignores it.

The MSM ignoring the problem is suicidal. Any with their trust ratings, that method of control is already dying a low death.

The markets are not ignoring the signals from the economy...

This really is Obama's third term. The same old playbook as before.
And same results...

they cooked the books with these numbers too.

its at least 3 - 4 time worse then they are reporting and in a month or two they will adjust the numbers around 3am and no one in the MSM will even report they adjusted the numbers
