Just saw this meme from CNS, but there was no accompanying story.
Would be huge if true. Dan Bongino is a major owner of Rumble.

Here's a daily mail article on it
quote:
A letter from Rumble CEO Chris Pavloski surfaced on the company's X page Tuesday, declaring his online video platform is ready to 'acquire and operate TikTok in the US.'
Pavloski stated his case further by explaining Rumble would store data safely and securely in the US with its newly launched cloud service that advocates for 'the free and open internet.'
The letter comes as the House of Representatives has threatened to ban TikTok if its parent company ByteDance does not sell, citing national security concerns about the Chinese government's access to user data.
quote:
Rumble stocks soared by more than 15 percent just moments after Pavloski's offer surfaced.
'In the event that ByteDance divests its ownership in TikTok, Rumble is ready to join a consortium with other parties seeking to acquire and operate TikTok inside the United States,' Pavloski wrote.
The letter comes one day after Rumble announced the launch of the Rumble Cloud, which Pavoski said aims to combat censorship and advocate for the 'free and open internet,' FOX Business reported.
The CEO also said that his company values 'freedom of expression and the First Amendment,' which is what many TikTok users have said will be lost if TikTok is banned in the US.
Florida-based Rumble has proclaimed itself as being one of the few 'neutral' and 'independent platforms, bit the company has received investments from several right-wing figures like Vivek Ramaswamy and Peter Thiel.

I saw this and other theories on Newsmax2 last night.
Essentially that the CCP would be removed as controlling content.
I see the RonBots trolling the board as if Ron wouldn't have been Romney 2.0---- And he is super Conservative that wants to ban abortion and Ms. Kim endorsed him! Ron would beat up the CCP from his fighter jet plane

I think the overall point is to get TT out of the CCP's control.
But can it be trusted they won't backdoor in? Everything is MADE IN CHINA and then there is Temu.

How much is the U.S. part of TikTok worth?

There is no way rumble can afford that

If a deal worked out it would be new investment under the Rumble corporate structure.

It's not just rumble, that's just a headline name...
ETA - I don't think it happens, but it's interesting.

Why would an institutional investor/VC type want to partner w a fringe right barely relevant online video platform?
Like what’s strategic about that for a 3rd party buyer or TikTok? ESP when they bring such little capitol to the table and brand recognition is virtually nonexistent at best, and a huge liability at worst.
In other words, I’d be shorting Rumble (popped 20% today) bec it’s unlikely to ever happen.
