The second time today a poster has concluded that this asinine theory is most logical without any evidence or even logic to support it. Why would he do that? It can only potentially hurt the company he works for, he could just as easily do it from his own account without causing a controversy, and the Internet sleuths were bound to figure it out.

In fact, it's just as logical, maybe even moreso, to conclude that this was actually a hack to implicate him, especially since the conspiracists were right on it. But most likely it was somebody just causing some controversy for fun.

I just can't believe how quickly and strongly people latch onto these ridiculous conspiracies.

You don't really think McDonald's or any high executive endorsed or was involved in that tweet, do you?

Yes, but this assumes it was done on purpose. I ran a Brigade facebook page and on several occasions I almost found myself posting a rant under the Brigade's account...which would have been baaaaaad.

Granted you're probably right in that it was a compromise, but it still wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility for Gibbs to be making a snarky tweet under the assumption he was on his personal account.

I know it is setting the bar high for them, but I expected just a little more from an Auburn grad.

That's it. You're posting based on a twitter post by a nobody.

There is not one news source reporting that this was an inside job.

You're a waste of time.

hack or rogue employee are the most likely sources. Whether you like gibb's politics or not, its unlikely that he would shoot the company he works for in a manner such as that.

Hell, I can see him directly social media to make subtle jabs at trump but that tweet? No way.
