Road block protesting should be punished exactly the same as holding someone hostage.

There really isn't much of a difference between the two.
What happens if the protesters become violent and you have nowhere to go? If I'm ever on a jury where somebody runs over one of these assholes, it will be an automatic not guilty from me.

Demoncraps care about rights......as long as rights don't go against their anti-America agenda.

Looks like you’re on to something.
Fox News just reported the Golden Gate Bridge protesters are being charged with conspiracy and false imprisonment.

There are laws against it. Unlawful detainer for sure. One cannot prevent another from travel. That is an inalienable right.

I cant imagine being on that bridge in line for 8 hrs while the cops played stand off with those idiots. They let less than a 100 people do that to an entire city.

Wait till someone dies in their car becuase they are being driven to a hospital for a medical emergency.
I'm of the opinion they should be charged with MURDER in that case as well.

What if someone has a medical emergency and is unable to get to the hospital because these idiots are blocking traffic?

It's more than an entire city. They are impeding the flow of interstate commerce which I believe is a federal crime.

Try that in Oklahoma.
Signed in 2021
They're too scared to try that here.

Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt signed a bill Wednesday granting immunity to drivers who unintentionally injure or kill protesters while attempting to flee and which stiffens penalties for demonstrators who block public roadways, according to the Oklahoma State Legislature.
