Dude says good things. I’m hung up on his revenue neutral income tax replacement. No where does he say he will stop growing government. Although is shrinking the size of state and local gov even possible given La’s Federal dependency??

His performance during the veto session was weak.

Like how he implies that we will get a 33% pay increase because his policies will be so good? He forgot to mention the states with the highest incomes are states like California.

Will never happen so long as LABI is powerful. Its just impossible because of all the tax credit schemes.

All the conservatives are going to undercut the others, thereby handing the two top spots to ball less and Rino Landry and a democrat.

Why did six conservatives decide to run?

You could not find anyone less in favor of tax credits than Richard, and I work in tax credits.

Because the sitting governor is term limited.

All the connected people don’t want him so he’s got my vote.

My experience with him has been very good. He has demonstrated support for 2A routinely. Young man, seems thoughtful and IMO has been quietly learning the mechanics of the political body. By the he answers calls.

Had not considered Nelson but I enjoyed the link. Looks like I need to research him more.

Seems like a guy who tells people what they want to hear when he knows there’s no chance he’ll ever need to worry about being in a position to actually do the things he says.

He’s the best candidate imo.

His point about losing 40,000 needs to be qualified with the fact that a lot of those people are our brightest citizens. Many are college grads with brighter futures elsewhere so they leave.

Nelson probably doesn’t stand a chance now but I think on 4-8 years, he’s the guy that we should demand as our candidate
