he said INITIAL stop. No matter how many times you twist what was said, it's still wrong.

Fast forward to 109.... This is where he says it. However, this video is hacked to shite by the poster because they cut away from the whole statement when it jumps to full screen

I wonder if the clerk tried to ID him and MB didn't have a driver's license. So he just took the cigars off the counter, gave the clerk the money, and walked away.

There were other customers in the store who saw what was going on.

"He might have seen the em ---//cut//--- kay with it.

I thought his explanation of the timing of releasing video tape (same time as officer name release) was legit or at least reasonable.

The fact Brown had apparently been involved in a theft 10minutes before the stop is relevant to Brown's state of mind. Most who want to know what happened would want to know this.

sure but the cop didn't know that, so its probably not relevant to whether the shooting was justified. If the cop knew he was a robber, then sure, but it was said he didn't know.

The timing of the release; however, didn't seem to be appropriate but how ironic is it that the people who cry for the truth and for facts get upset when they only get facts that don't back up their preconceived notion of the characters and of events.

certainly but the release of the video at the same time of the name of the cop was fricking suspicious, especially since it came out later that wilson didn't know he was a suspect. Talk about trying to influence the narrative!

The tape was held back at the behest of the Obama DOJ.

Are you really this ignorant on what occurred?

No fricking doubt... It was calculated in an attempt to take away from the release of the officers name.

Amazing... the twitter eye witness knew of the theft the day of the shooting...

Yet we are to believe that was all falsified along with the police reports. which they managed to falsify days before obtaining the surveillance footage - which I am not even sure they would know what to look for.

Perhaps maybe the store owner who has his property destroyed is trying to save his life here?

So pathetic on so many levels.

The chief came out and said that Wilson was unaware of the robbery when the initial contact took place.... That is not the same as Wilson reengaging them, which led to the shooting.

the initial confrontation was at 12:01 and the shooting was at 12:04. Not a lot of time to get information on a robbery, make a decision that it was the suspect, back up, engage him and then shoot him dead in the street.

Is it possible that it happened. Definitely. But I don't believe what the police are selling, but the pro-police state people on this board sure do seem to suck that shite up.

The cop might not have known that; however, Brown did and his reaction to the cops presence may have been one of a guilty person trying to escape the law and not of an innocent guy just walking down the street.

I agree, the timing was bad and makes it look like a character assassination. And it certainly was designed to change the "narrative" which at the time ways way off base as to the kind of person Brown really was.

Holy frick

Maybe in your mind, but 3 min is a long time to get pull up and tell kids to get out of the road... Drive up another 30 ft or so... Get a call over the radio "APB for 2 suspects involved in a strong armed robbery of cigars wearing xxxxxxx.... Looks back in the mirror and see that they match the description... reverse... and the altercation and what led up to the shooting take place.

Yup - the INITIAL contact was not related to the robbery. But after telling them to get out of the road.... He saw evidence ("broadcast about a stealing"...of cigars) and returned....according to the police.

After all is said and done, there will be positive proof MB was executed by a white supremacist upset because he MB was returning from choir practice while delivering insulin to a shut-in diabetic of color, or Wilson was confronted with a drug-crazed, chainsaw wielding animal chewing on a femur. Pick and choose what you want with a fork cafeteria-style.

Meanwhile the black-on-black murders go on unnoticed. So much for post-racial USA.
