Agreed. Then we can move on from repeal and work toward tweaks.

There's that intentionally misleading language again. Your 20% and my 50% don't both want repeal in the same sense.
You know better than to lie.

Seems fishy that someone's first post on this board was to critique your spelling in a 500 post thread.
Somebody's alter, imo. NC or buckeye

Par that he was wrong in his critique, though.

I never lie. You just don't like facts, champ.

That makes sense - Karla would pop into a thread just to frick up the English language.

There's no purpose in 'pretend' for me.
If I've got something to say, I'll say it.

Not as long as 70% want repeal. They'll catch on if they want to keep their jobs.

There's nothing misleading about it. 70% want repeal. That's accurate.

I don't need them to.

Which alter was this? I'll have to check my spreadsheet to see if it was one of mine.

It's incredible how lopsided the language of reporting is on this.
Given the first real threat of repeal obamacare has faced, the sudden change in reporting is no accident of coincidence
BamaAtl's recalcitrance is certainly in part manifestation of the axiom that repeating a falsehood enough times makes it seem true. These recent polls have been repeated over-and-over-and-over again as emblematic of some cataclysmic shift of public opinion in favor of obamacare. I am sure there is a part of him that actually takes the reporting at face value.
First off, most of the public still hasn't a clue as to the particulars of obamacare. So polling becomes an exercise in self-fulfillment.
Secondly the fawning press portrays the ACA akin to Jesus' "miracle of the five loaves and two fish". Spreading of the wealth through subsidies is presented as all miracle, and no morass. Massive program costs to cover just 4% of the population, while foisting unwanted change on millions is neither covered in the MSM, nor even admitted. In fact when the concept is raised, individuals are often ostracized and shunned.
Given the propaganda, it's actually amazing so much of America would have any qualm with the ACA at all.
You've done well in surfacing that bias, and the actual poll results.

Now: How much repeal does that 70% want, per Quinnipiac? Parts, or whole, or a mixture of both?
Why would nay of it need to be repealed? You had 8 years to get it right, and told us it was a great bill! (We needed to pass the bill to see what was in it!) Now it needs "tweaking"?
How much needs tweaking and why does it need tweaking?
ETA
Oh! And why didn't the Democrats tweak the bill while they were in power? Imagine. A bill can be passed when it is not perfect. Yet, if the GOP puts forth a bill it can't be passed unless it is perfect.

No.
Not holland either. Holland has Longer lifespan, half the expense and twice the mds per capita.
We are not bound by others failures.
All possibilities arise simultaneously in space time.

The Dutch in Holland have a longer lifespan than Dutch descendants in this country? Link?

We are responsible for sorting out our own though.
Undertake a fieldtrip to a USVA Hospital.
You've read the headlines.
Take a gander.

Not holland either.
It's one of the chief reasons I'm so adamant about relative quality of the US system vs those. When seen in person, there is simply no overall comparison.
The sole advantage, particularly in Dutch and French hospitals, is bedside and more attentive nursing. Those differences reflect construction of laborious medical records requisite in the US system d/t continual malpractice threat.
Again, very easy to appreciate in person.

tweaks!
it is tweaked captain dumbarse. good health insurance like the kind i have is expensive. according to line DD on my W2 the imputed value of mine last year was $22,700.00 my employer picked up 2/3's of that cost....see problem solved! the average obamacare premium for a family of four last year was $1,000.00 per month with a $6,000.00 deductible that's a cost of $18,000.00 annually see......affordable! of course if that family makes more than $84,000.00 per year they get no premium assistance from the government because the government considers them rich.
the problem is when you include things like pre-existing conditions and maternity care and a psych benefit the cost of insurance gets very expensive and the primary group of people willing to pay for that kind of insurance are already very sick.
perhaps one of the tweaks we could make would be tripling the individual mandate penalty to $2,100.00 annually and allow the irs their complete bag of tricks in collecting that penalty, like asset forfeiture and wage garnishment, i think that's a dandy idea since it doesn't effect me!
make those millennial scoff laws howl!.......amirite!
