IF and IF the GOP does get the majority in the US Senate, we are going to need strong moral leaders like Ted Cruz and Mike Lee, and even Rand.
We need to get rid of the old country club liberal RINOs like McCain, McConnell, Cornyn and get some fresh blood in there rather than the back-room, buddy-buddy GOP we had for years.
I would love to see Ted Cruz as the Senate Majority leader and Mike Lee as head of the US Judiciary committee.
The GOP could stop this obama-fool from appointing any of his nazi judges to the Federal bench.
We could set back the left 25 years in the court system with a strong conservative such as Cruz as head of the Judicairy committee.
Plus it would be cool to see the loons on this and other sites implode.

We need a new Party to vote for. I propose the Porn Chick Party. All candidates must have a minimum of 3 films of experience.
Because if we are going to get screwed might as well be by a professional.

my opinion is the republicans don't really want the senate. if they have the senate, they are going to have to come up with legislation for the president to sign.
and you can only send him so many obamacare bills. They will have to do something else, and I think they want nothing until 2016 and the chance for the presidency.

I disagree.
Repubs win senate they will send all kinds of bills to Obama hoping he vetoes the majority of them allowing them to paint the Dems as obstructionists to help them in the presidential race.

With Reid no longer in control, there would also be REAL investigations into things like Benghazi and the IRS shenanigans. That Senate Benghazi "investigation" was a joke. And as previous posters said, make Obama veto legislation over and over again. My biggest concern with a bare 51-49 majority, however, would be that Susan Collins would, in several instances vote the other way, making it 50-50 and giving Biden the tiebreaker. May need to gain 7 seats rather than 6.
