This was true up until Republicans abdicated their ability to repeal it last week.

it's over, and now that a majority of the country wants it to stay...they're not going to repeal it. Period.

The debt will repeal it within 20 years, along with SS, Medicare and Medicaid.

Only if Republicans keep enacting unfunded mandates like the Bush tax cuts, Medicare Part D, and the Iraq War.

If adults are in charge, no problem with the debt.

Sorry Republicans didn't ram some shite healthcare bill down the Americans throats just because they have power. If you remember, the liberals did that and we know how that turned out.

And the military spending will play a very large role in it as well. Neither party really wants to reduce spending, they just argue about where it goes.

We could tax every millionaire in the US and couldn't cover our spending. We have a spending problem not an income problem.

Most of that was not due to Obama-chosen policies. Things like the bailout, Iraq War, and other Bush policies he had no choice in paying for.

Thanks, Republicans!

Good thing Obama has only been gone for two months. We have plenty of time. It's done.

The financial crisis was caused by 3 Clinton passed democrat policies.

1) Housing and Community Development Act of 1992 established an affordable housing loan purchase mandate for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac( basically created the sub prime market)

2) Repeal of Glass-Stieagal (repealed at end of 1999)

3) Commodity Futures Modernization Act, which exempted credit-default swaps from regulation

Thanks democrats.

Most of which reach back to Clinton, and beyond.

You thought premiums where sky rocking under Obamacare wait till we go back to what we had before it lol

How do you come to this conclusion, other than pure emotion?

Obamacare put several regulations in place (mandated coverages for maternal and mental care (which I think the Republican leadership offered as a proposed amendment) and preexisting conditions (which was never on the chopping block, much to the consternation of true conservatives)... all of which increased costs significantly.

But getting rid of them would cost even more money?

It's not like a significant majority of the newly insured from Obamacare received their work insurance because of the (50 people? 40 hours?) requirements to insure these people through their employer... they just cut their hours (or let people go to get under the minimum).

It's sad that the only way to "save" Obamacare is a huge tax increase and more government control (and that the Republican bill would've done very little to change it), yet liberals are strutting around like peacocks.
