"ALERT: Reporters at Capitol have been told they are not allow to film interviews with senators in hallways, contrary to years of precedent

CONDITIONS for any interview: Previously granted permission from senator AND Rules Committee of Senate"

I think this is closely related to the AHCA senate bill. This shows you all you need to know about how much they want to defend this terrible bill.

Hey Kasie, precedent is not law. "Get use to the new sheriff" would be good advice for you to comprehend.

Um, they can still leak to the press . Just not out in public in the senate hallway, where no one would ever figure out theyre leaking

Good, these mother frickers are more in love with cameras than they are in serving their constituents.

Why call it terrible if you dont know whats in it? You should think about that before you cast judgement

I'm torn. I don't trust DC or the media.

Frick them both.

I mean...this isn't some moral issue or something, so as long as the president is operating within the law (which he can generally circumvent anyway) I don't have a problem with it.

Fail. They arent leaks when its public information and it isnt "fake news" when you interview actual senators.

This is true, I'll take back my opinion, until/if it's made public.

Instead, I'll say that the American people think it's terrible, Only 17% approve of it.

Not sure if you've been following, but the politicians with their own agendas are just as capable of fake news as the news agencies

Why does one assume it has to do with the AHCA?

Who made the decision for these changes about press access.
