I think they are growing up and would like to have children and a family.
They could be looking for jobs that give them the down time to do this.

All you need to do is look at pictures of rescues from the flooding from Hurricane Harvey to know there’s some truth to the Bee’s satire. I did not see one picture of a woman carrying a man out of danger or driving a boat into a dangerous area.
