I live in Austin and I only know exactly 2 people besides myself who voted for Trump.

Romney didn't win Tarrant County by 40. I lived in Tarrant County for 25 years. I know the area like the back of my hand.

Everybody is kind of missing the point, IMO. I don't think TX was "in play" b/c of demographics, I think it was in play b/c of TRUMP. Ted Cruz would have destroyed Clinton in a TX general election.

There is a shite ton of GOPe here.

the poster who mentioned the Californians moving to Hill Country probably has a point; NH was reliably red until folks exiting Massachusetts moved there and then started voting for the same failed policies that caused them to leave Mass. It's also American citizens who work for the Feds leading the movement of Virginia from Red to blue, though Virginia has many foreign immigrants in northern VA; not to mention the 300,000 felons the D governor reinstated voting rights to...
