I remember it vividly and called it out at the time. I don't think it was nearly as mean-spirited as the Trump thing, but the media hypocrisy is overwhelming. You can bet your arse that if he made a remark about the SO, it wouldn't just be shrugged off.

Holy hell. 
Where i think it's "fine" for us normies to joke around about that, there is a hugely diff standard for the President. I keep telling myself not to be surprised what the liberal media allows their own ilk to get away with... I keep being surprised at the total hypocrisy.

Good. He should have. It was a consciously made joke for which there was NO escaping a public apology.
Trump has been proven to use that physical reaction other times in live interviews, where there was no handicapped person topic relevant. It's certainly plausible he did not intend to mock the guy.
Not saying I think Trump is a full class act 100% of the time... that's why we like him. He's not PC. That's refreshing at this level of office for us right now... but, we can't legitimately say it was the only time he's ever used that same reaction because he's used it in multiple contexts. IF THAT WERE the only time he's done that, I would be on board for saying he should issue an apology, no doubt.

I thought a big selling point of this victory is that liberalism and the media and whatever else offended your delicate little sensibilities was now irrelevant.
So why is this board cranking out more threads crying about random shite than ever? The 20th is going to be a nightmare with one official inauguration thread and 250 threads whining about Obama yawning or shifting in his seat.

He didn't actually say it out loud so he was able to weasel out of it. It's chickenshit though. I have handicap people as friends and I'm not cool with ANYONE making fun of them.
