Record Number of Living Ex Presidents

Assuming George HW Bush and Jimmy Carter live another 71 days, we will have the following 5 living Ex POTUS
Carter
Bush 41
Clinton
Bush 43
Obama
Surely we've never had five before? I would be surprised if we've ever had four before the current crop. Carter and Bush 41 are both over 90 I think...

As a kid I remember Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan and Bush all being there when Clinton was pres.

I remember Nixon dying in like 93 right after Clinton was elected. But I thought Ford was already dead. I actually don't even remember hearing about when he died. Anyone have the year?

5 ex-Presidents (6 total Presidents) is the record and it was Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, Bush, and Clinton from Jan. 20, 1993, through April 22, 1994

Presidential lifespans
This is a scroller with their lifespans. You can see where their terms were and find out how many were around any given year.
Nixon died right after Clinton came in but the 4 left made it until he finished so there was 5 again for a little while until Reagan died.
