There’s an announcement we can all get behind.

Nice maneuver by Rand.

Rand and his dad always come across as the politician we need, but they're too logical for the American people to actually vote into office. They're not perfect people, but they don't fall into the category of "voting for a lesser evil" that we're generally forced to vote for.

I deep down think that the vast majority of Americans don't want to address the debt problem because they know it'll mean pain so they're all fine kicking the can down the road. Personally, I'd rather rip the band aid off, or at a minimum, force the government to pass a balanced budget that doesn't expand the national debt any further.

Either way, Nikki is the last candidate in the republican race I'd want to have as POTUS, so I'm good with Rand's move here.
