Actually a lot was given to him by his wealthy (or at least upper middle class) parents, including the money he used to start his DJ business during which he came up with his stage name. They also funded acting and singing lessons for him. He grew up in a 15 room, 5,600 square foot estate with a five car garage, three horse barn, in ground swimming pool and private tennis court.
So it is not accurate to say nothing was given to him.

Having said that, I am confident that Ritchie will be a reliable vote on issues I care about, and Stabenow can be counted on to obstruct - I also think he will be a strong voice insofar as ending the WOD
As far as I am concerned, all bets are off, especially after watching the RESIST shitshow from the left, the media and establishment republicans
