The "best" democrats no longer have a voice in the DNC and certainly aren't running for a Michigan Senate seat.

63 million people give or take voted for Hillary Clinton.

It's hard to get more fricked up than that. You morons actually NOMINATED that wench.

In any case. No. There are perfectly decent democrats out there.

They just haven't got a snowball's chance in hell of being nominated for President with your base being what it is and only have a slight change at the Senate level.

At the house level, you guys could do better, but your base won't let you fund them.

Man, I can't quite put my finger on why blacks, who might have a different view of America's historical greatness, would vote for Obama. That is a tough one.

I don't care that black people wanted to see a black president, but there wasn't a law on the books discriminating against AAs when Obama took over. If you want to talk shite about white people voting for a white president why not mention black people favoring a black president. Double standard is getting old

Exactly.

And that's the point these idiots are missing.

Someone like Kid Rock would lose by 40 points to a Democrat in 1984.

But that party is dead dead dead.

Nah, Obama was a bad President and Hillary has zero political accomplishments in a career that spans three decades.

They were bad. Trump is bad. McCain was bad.

Romney was surprisingly good and, of course, didn't win.

I always say, "frick republicans........how in the frick did the Democratic party not find it blindingly insulting that Obama and Hillary got nominated WITHIN their party?"

Two fricking no accomplishment novices. I mean, there are people who've actually done shite in the Democratic party......and yet they go with Mr. Never Did a fricking Thing and Ms. Look, I shat out a baby that probably isn't Bill's?

The answer is that prior to 2016, the GOP was supposed to be the party of substance.

Who did Obama appeal to by the way, angry black folks clinging to the fever dream of an America that never will be [free everything in the form of reparations]?

Angry black folks always voted Democrat. Plus, African Americans only make up around 12% of the population. It wasn't African Americans who got Obama elected, twice.

Unfortunately, right now, whether I like it or not, the problem in America isn't one of rebuking substance.

It's one of rebuking rampant bigotry and racism in the form of leftist identity politics.

Until that's dead and buried, policy almost doesn't matter.

I mean frick. If 1 is liberal and 10 is conservative, Trump is about a 4........and I'm a 13.

It is what it is.

Did this dude even graduate from high school? Has he attended a single college class? I'll even accept JUCO classes. I'm not a fan of Stabenow either but there has to be an actual qualified Republican.

Obama received 43% and 39% of the white vote in 08 and 12. So who got Obama elected?

That 12% is a lot when it's uniform.

And once again, I don't care that black people favored a black president. I was responding in turn to the poster that acted like only angry whites voted for trump, and insinuating that somehow white people voting for another white person is racist while that is not the case when other races do the same

Sometimes, the best route out of a ditch isn't over the edge.

The part running on the hate whitey platform was kicking policy's arse.

Understood, but just saying even those percentages don't make up a smidgen of the votes Obama got to destroy McCain and Romney.

When you stop putting career politicians on a pedestal I will.

You bleed for the likes of Yeb, Lindsey and McCain because you can't think for yourself.

You're pathetic.

Not that it's a big deal but what do you mean? In 2012 he "destroyed" Romney by the tune of 5 million more votes. In an election where AA turnout shot through the roof, surpassing white turnout rates. So proportionally AAs were more than 12% of the votes and they all went Obama.

Voter analysis shows Obama would have lost in 2012 if black turnout had mirrored 2008

Now he might win in 2008 if black votes simply mirrored their typical democratic lean, but if there was a party disparity among black voters similar to that of whites all bets are off.

I mean there is nothing wrong with saying it, black citizens got Obama elected. And that's their right

So you are admitting that you'd vote on emotion rather than any substantive reason or the group of issues making up his platform. Are you even capable of understanding the irony of what you just wrote? All you did was confirm Sleauxplay's hypothesis, you proved his point.

I think his platform is saying F you to people that hate America and traditional politicians who are helping to bring down America. For some people, that's enough.
