John Edwards was a scumbag that I loved to hate! I'd of actually voted for Jim Webb over half of the GOP nominees this past cycle, but he was way too logical for the Dem's to take serious.

Because the war was more unpopular at the end of 2004 than it was at the beginning, he would've been able to make the actual anti-war case instead of whatever the frick Kerry's lame argument was (I can't even remember it was so ineffective)

In November '04 a majority said the war was going well and it was a good decision to invade. It wasn't until the spring of '05 that public support began to erode.

Honest question: Do you think there is a single person who was planning on voting for him tomorrow who views body-slamming a reporter as a negative?

The Dems I liked all won. In hindsight, I'd probably choose Gore over Bush.

As we just witnessed, the biggest Dem obstacle is their rigged primaries.

Yeah I never understood how that was a negative.

I think that really had more to do with coming up with a reason to "disqualify" a candidate who was too far left for the party higher ups at the time. Dean did nothing wrong that I could ever tell.

He could have, should have been nominated. He had ALL the momentum early in the race and would have been more competitive in the general than the colorless, awkward, plastic Dukaukis.

Are you people delusional?

He voted for the war before he voted against it.

I did the same thing to Kerry. As a joke, I voted for Kerry and then switched to my real vote (Badnarik).

The amount of questions that call out Dems in particular is alarmingly high considering there are less than ten that post here, if even that many.

It's like being a conservative watching MSM today. Banging on Trump all day while only about 10% of conservatives watching.

i think hillary, independent of scandals, would have been a great president. obviously that independence is not there.

besides her, probably howard dean, maybe? i liked kerry okay, but nothing great. i think bernie is good for the cause, but think he would have been a bad president.

Are you a democrat mainly because of bill clinton's influence in arkansas? Did he play a role in your political ideology formation?
