PT advice - customer calls the business and asks why no one is wearing a mask.

My SO and I recently purchased a small business. We are not requiring our employees to wear masks. Today a customer comes in and gets serviced, leaves the store, then calls back to the store asking why no one was wearing a mask. She left a message, and asked to be called back.

My SO and I think the masks and the whole COVID-19 pandemic is a large load of horseshite. I told my wife not to call her back. How would the PT handle this Karen?

I think you're dead on. You don't owe her anything.

If you were to call her back, I would simply tell her you aren't requiring people to wear masks. You don't owe her any further explanation.

LOL...i can only imagine. Sorry you have a target now.

I'm enviro for chem plants. When an air permit is renewed, I get calls direct to my desk from totally random people all the time. Sometimes neighbors sometimes its just an area concerned citizen.

Get your script together and call this one back. No need having Karen wreck you on social media because you refused to acknowledge she's a kook.

Say all employees had cotton balls stuffed up their nostrils according to new CDC guidance, so no mask required.
