All others allegedly present that night deny it happened, but Ford has convinced herself that it happened, based in part on her clinical analysis of how the brain stores memory.

It is not a paradox to say her belief in her BELIEF is credible, while it really didn’t happen the way she believes.

Elizabeth Loftus has done some amazing research on faulty memory. You should watch some Ted talks on her.

She seems like she has been MKUltra'd. The speech pattern and childlike voice are very common symptoms

I bet she has been assaulted but by someone else at some other time and place.

The lie is who the assailants are.

If you tell yourself a lie enough it can become true in your mind

It hurts the GOP that this isn't an actual trial that is based on facts.

false memories are 100% real

lots of data on this

it's actually an area i want to publish a paper on because in most states you can't attack unreliable testimony with experts

I think she's lying about almost all of it.

She's lying about the parties involved. She's lying about the impact it has had on her life. And, she's lying about the details of the incident.

It's all probably based in a very little bit of truth like she was at a party, and Kavanaugh was there. Everything else is a fabrication.

Most certainly, she's lying about who has been driving this train since she levied the accusation.

My theory is that something happened to her in some fashion to what she described. Kavanaugh may not have been involved and either she thought it was him (barely knew him) or she's deliberately trying to insert him into what happened because she hates Trump.

I agree.

Before today, I thought she was a Dem plant.

Now, I lean toward the idea that she convinced herself of this “assault” many decades ago. Maybe Kave grabbed a tit one time at the pool. Maybe he rejected HER advances. For whatever reason, he became the villain of her teenage years, realtime, and she HAS been carrying that worldview for a LONG time.

I believe something happened to her, but that what she thinks happened isn't what actually happened.

Speaking of which, what's the latest on the two guys that have come forward to say they were the ones that assaulted her?
