This is a great example of Trump's mental disadvantage when he deals with the Germans. He's a fricking clown.
So, why don't Germans buy more Chevrolets? Anyone want to venture into that mystery?

Trump called Germany a great car producer, saying Mercedes-Benz cars were a frequent sight in New York, but claimed there was not enough reciprocity. Germans were not buying Chevrolets at the same rate, he said, calling the business relationship an unfair one-way street.

Hormone-fed beef is pretty low on the list of stuff that should be worrying Europeans, food-wise.

quality of meat and produce in Europe at an average super market is much better than in the US.
True for certain foods. However, have you tried to get a good steak in France? If you want a good steak in France, order duck beast.

Americans paying more for stuff is gonna really chap her arse!
What products does Germany export to us besides cars and beer that will directly affect average Joe American?
If your answer is cars and beer than those "average Joe Americans" don't give a shite because they can afford to pay more for those already expensive products.
My company buys products manufactured in Germany and I can assure you if those products get taxed, the price hike (if it gets passed on to the consumer) will amount to fractions of pennies at the pump.
In other words this is a power play we will win.

If this isn't fake news and is true - the state of South Carolina will be thrilled - all of the BMW's manufactured there over 30% is exported -

Well if it beef mince its still a beef hamburger just has a different texture
Regardless the food over there doesn't have all that bullshite in it or preservatives to make veggies last 3 weeks.
I enjoy a good USDA steak as much as anyone. But your right. Food outside the USA is healthier. Took my wife and I couple of weeks to get use to the texture of the meat.

Germany better take heed. Trump train stops for no one.

Have you noticed how many more fields filled with cows you see while driving country roads?
It's good for the American farmer. Also most people with some land in the country can get into cattle farming on the small scale with little startup. Not like ag farming.

I didn't read the article but that last line doesn't sound sympathetic to Trumps agenda.
