No one pays attention to the Census Bureau for unemployment statistics except uninformed dolts. The department of labor unemployment rate which is computed monthly is the standard that universallly watched.
And no one gives a crap about the unemployment rate was for 2015 when it's 2017 except a dishonest jackass trying to make someone else look bad by using out-of-date statistics.
The Department of Labor unemployment rate for the state of Georgia for November 2016 was 5.3% LINK
I don't think all liberals or all conservatives are consumate liars, but I know for sure you are one.

Interesting you assume it was less expensive to move to where I live now. Then again you've made a ton of assumptions about me...only one of them accurate really (middle class), but I get that you're proud of the city you call home (I assume) and naturally think it's nicer than it truly is. I'm sorry you're in denial. The reality is district 5 is in fact riddled with dangerous areas. I've lived and worked in one and encountered others often...most I avoid like the plague for obvious reasons. (All of which are much cheaper to live in than where I'm at now I'll add)
I'm curious though as to which district you live and/or work in that you'd be so unaware of this obvious fact.
