As the transgenders insist, having a penis does not mean that you are a man.

Is that your opinion based on personal experience?

When I was in service I always felt politicians who visited were a pain in the butt.

Obama received a nice, hearty welcome from the troops at Bagram.

Doesn't mean anything. As much as I disagree with him and his ideology, I would be respectful to the office and position if I were to meet him. He was elected and no matter how much that pisses me off. He is my President. And it would be an honor to meet him and tell him were he's gone wrong.

Just from a cursory observation I'm gonna say that over 2/3 of the soldiers in the back ground were black, Hispanic or female. Maybe that's the current demographic in the military. Or maybe it was staged. Who knows.

Since Douchydog won't answer me, it works like this. You get voluntold that you will be rent a crowd and will partake in the mandatory fun.

I guess I can see why he doesn't want to show up at some VA hospitals though. Active troops will be ordered to look supportive

I've never been volutold to be somewhere where I'm expected to be on my best behavior and there will probably be cameras. I always seem to be sent on patrol or stuck in the duty hut for those occasions.

Discipline, and respect for Authority is probably one of the great virtues of the Military. Totally agree with you Hawg; but I imagine it takes great discipline to grin and salute a man who sleeps or plays video games, making ready for a Vegas fund raiser...instead of taking the wheel when HIS men are calling out for help from the roof.

Honestly...I don't think I'd choose to shake the man's hand or salute him. I'd request to be relieved of that duty, and give my reasons. If denied, I'd suck it up....but the look in my eye - man on man - would spell out my feelings of disgust.

I can tell you with 100% certainty that the majority of the rank and file military detest that jug-eared moron.
