I don't know why it took them so long to build the National WWII Memorial? I wish it had been built earlier so more Vets were still alive to see it.

I would go with Iwo Jima.



This was a contentious statue from back in the day. It is no longer there. Not sure where it is now ...or if it was destroyed.

"Uncle Jack" ...used to be in Downtown Natchitoches.
