Why? His public option failed miserably. He ended up subsidizing big insurance.

Yea, like the Repubs didn't try to pass it as hard as they could. Keep trying to polish that turd.

Dumb arse, if they voted down party lines, it would have passed.

How do you breathe?

Which Republicans are you referring to? The ones that tried to pass it or the big group that tried to kill it?

ETA that is, assuming Rand is piloting the Millennium Falcon.

Which party lines - the Republican or the Tea Party?

I don't disagree the ACA should be re-worked, but Obama is laughing his arse off because many of the people who bitched about the ACA for years finally had the deck stacked in their favor and couldn't come up with a winning hand.

Additionally, Trump seems to be completely removed from the healthcare bill. He made some big promises about healthcare when he was elected and when the opportunity arose he seemed to completely miss on proposing something remotely close to what he promised.

Beforw you say "Obama said you can keep your dr." Or something of the like, i am not disputing that. I know the ACA is far from perfect, but i cant believe the GOP and/or Trump, two of the biggest opponents of the ACA, couldn't get something better than this POS bill put together.

bro, this ain't needed, man... be gracious in victory...

i know it feels good and all, but it ain't solving anytihng... no need to further inflame and divide the many viewpoints on this board... makes it that much harder to try to get a point across with someone that doesn't see it your way....

and don't get me wrong, i'm an independent, and i'm happy it failed too, but this thread really doesn't do much for anyone on either side the aisle.... it's just egotistical masturbation

Trump wanted "something".

Members had to live with it.

Best for me was trump saying he was "just kidding" re primarying the no voters.

Right wing stood up to the bully on day one.

The big group that tried to pass it. They were only 10-15 votes short of passage. They needed 215. So a much larger group of Republicans would have voted to pass the bill.

The Dems would never have pushed a bill as shitty as this, and you know it.
