then it would be inconsistent for him to deny that sexual deviance is a norm of the priesthood.
Well it has been proven to be so.
It would not require a great leap of faith for one to think that the priesthood has been a haven for sexual deviates for centuries.
One might say, a perfect cover for their sins, if you will.

Hint: the Pope is infallible and speaks directly for God.

Yeap, this activist Pope is ridiculously out of touch with the real world.

Prior Pope's have also said "There's no priests molesting little boys."
We see how that worked out.
Funny thing is, now every Proggy in America is going to love this Pope since he is validating their terrorist ally.

And even those few times the pope got it wrong

Baptized catholic conservative here, and I say, frick the pope, frick the church, and frick anyone who dislikes the fricks I have to give. It should be about being a decent human being, not republican or democrat, or Christian or Whatever the frick you pray to!

Preach.
The primary reason I'm not religious at all.

He would have done better to pick followers of Jainism over Buddhists.

The biblical authority that the Catholic Church bases the papacy on is dependent on a mistranslation of Jesus' words. This is because the bible was translated from Greek to Latin then to English and other languages. The quote that the Catholic Church uses to justify papal authority, " thou art Peter, and upon this Rock I will build my Church", Does not refer to Peter as the foundation of Christianity, but to Jesus Himself, hence the capitalization of "Rock".

Is the Pope a man? If so, He is not infallible.

How catholics don't see that the entire establishment of the Vatican and the infallibility of the Pope is akin to the Pharisees Jesus objected to 2000 years ago is beyond me.
They've grown too big and self important for their own britches.

Rabbis are on the other side of the coin here.

To have faith, you must believe. They are blinded by faith.

Same Pope that is going to try to force female deacons on us and is excusing adultery. He seems to be a political creature and that's sad.

Incorrect. Papal infallibility is better explained as 'ecclesiastical infallibility'. The Pope is only infallible when the pope is speaking ex cathedra on faith and morals in keeping with the Church's unchanging Magisterium. This isn't that difficult to understand. It's very, very narrowly defined.

You don't know how it works. This is a very simple-minded interpretation.

Every Pope has claimed to be the Vicar of Christ. Through the translations the meaning of the word "AntiChrist" has been misinterpreted.
"anti" from Latin translation is "in place of", not against. AntiChrist=In place of Jesus.(Vicar)
So, hidden in plain sight every Pope has been and is now the AntiChrist. prophecy says he will introduce to us the False Prophet. Whom, will deceive many through wonderous things.
