i mean this had to be expected, but gotta think it favors Moore as his supporters will be out in full force.

It's a special election. 10-15% is normal. Poor turnout for a special election would be in single digits.

Roy Moore rode in on horseback to vote
I don't think it would be possible to attention whore it any more than that.

My understanding is that he always rides on horseback to his voting location.
ETA: He was interviewed about it and said he had been riding in a car for 1000s of miles during the campaign, and wanted to ride his horse.

Bill Russell is easily the Greatest of All Time!

Looks like the gumps were real motivated to drain the swamp.

Let's take that to the more sports board

That's fine and all...
I would add one last post on my point...
Every one of the people you considered the goat have all said numerous times that Russell actually was.
Not only that But Phil Jackson who actually coached Jordon, Shaq, and Bryant said." If making an all star team the first player I would choose would be Russell"

quote:Except hardly anybody who has said this, was able to actually watch enough tape to make the determination, because the stats don't support this.

Just got back from voting for Moore. Hardly anyone was there. My grandad said hardly anyone was at his voting location this morning as well.

Disagree. Don't complain about anything if you don't vote
Posted on 8/15/17 at 12:56 pm to RMFT15
I voted at 7:00 this morning was first in line.

Went at lunch thinking there might be a small crowd. Nope. One lady was leaving as I entered, and 2 guys walked in just ahead of me. Lady there said it was a little busy when they first opened, but been slow the rest of the morning.
I was line #22 on the Democratic sign-in sheet, but I think it was the second page.

I was the 108th voter in my district at noon, and it is in the middle of a rather large neighborhood. Sad really.
Part of the problem is the candidates. Mo Brooks, Luther Strange, and Roy Moore are not a great group to choose from on the Republican side. Mo Brooks is the best of a rough bunch.

quote:That's such a stupid, predictable response. It means absolutely nothing. We don't get to complain bc we vote. We get to complain for multiple reasons. I'll list some of them for those of you who aren't smart
Don't complain about anything if you don't vote
1. Ability to speak or write
2. Freedom of Expression
3. Because you can't stop me
4. I want to complain
5. A complaint needs to be made
