8 years as Senator from NY

She was my senator for 8 years. During that time period she sat on the following committees:
Committe on budget (spending went up)
Armed services committee (wars went up)
Environment and Public works (not sure what was accomplished here)
Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (judging from the responses on this board from the younger set, Education certainly didn't get better)
Special committee on aging (winner! she definately looks older)

During her tenure, she was the worst of both Republican and Democrat stereotypes: She voted in favor of almost every military action and voted against keeping the budget in check, while voting for higher taxes.

Kudos to her for getting appointed. Biggest accomplishment seems to have been a complete disaster in Libya?

not to mention 8 years as first lady

So now being married to the President is an accomplishment?

This scandal is a nothingburger,

From a military standpoint, I think it's a big fricking deal. If your standard grunt thinks his leaders regard them as expendable for political expediency, how motivated can you expect them to be?

Seriously, I would take her over our current president in a heartbeat. But she is going to be savaged in the Democratic primaries. This rush to coronate her as the heir apparent is ill conceived.

It's a lot closer to the independent opinion than the Dem opinion is.

It's funny that you think this qualifies her to be president.

Any of her primary challengers. Do you think that no one is going to run against her? Seriously?

Savaged in what way? You place too much stock in your own Republican propaganda. NONE of her Democratic Party primary challengers will use Benghazi as some campaign point because they all know it's just Republican bullshite.

No need to read, if you like it the story must be written by a communist.

Any person that doesn't want to hold the president and the Mrs Clinton accountable for lying to those 4 families by telling them 3 days latter that this whole thing was about a video, WHEN THE POS's NEW BETTER !!!!

Anybody, that don't think that is a crime against the American people is FOS.

Also we need to get to the bottom of why the Benghazi consulate asked for further protection and didn't get it. Was it because the president & Clinton was trying to buy back arms that they had given to Al Qada.

lol, no shite right?

Love how they think Dems will be tearing each other apart and running to the extreme left because republicans are dumb enough to do it to themselves.

I guess just wishful thinking on their part

She isn't going to be able to get away with this in the Democratic primaries/debates...

You mean like Joe Biden...who served in the same administration?

The dem primary isn't going to come close to the cluster-cuss that was the 2012 GOP primary. Hillary and Biden are the only ones who will have any money. Nobody is going to donate to Martin O'Malley or whoever the hell decides to run. Plus the Ds aren't divided like the Rs.

The only viable Democratic primary possibilities right now are Hillary, Biden, and Warren.

Biden and Warren are going to savage Hillary on Benghazi? REALLY? They have each already very publicly defended her.

I'd like to know which "primary challengers" Wolfhound45 is talking about.

Rex, I am a practical man. Anyone who enters the race will use whatever means they have available to them in order to overcome her advantages (and she has a lot). Nothing will be off the table - to include Benghazi. Admire her all you want, but her challengers plan on winning the nomination. Period.

So, Biden and Warren are not going to mention it in the least bit? No bit about who do you want to answer the phone at 2:00 am? Really?

Okay, I will trust your judgement. You are the expert on liberal/progressive candidates.

ETA: Have to admit, I am bookmarking this for the day it comes out in the debates/primaries. Someone is going to sling some mud. Some proxy (e.g. news outlet or political organization) is going to bring it up. Agree or disagree with the validity of the decisions that were made, they are on the table from an election standpoint.
