GTFO. Someone knocks on my door being an a-hole, I would be pissed too.

That is such a dumb thing to say.

How was he "looking" for an argument when they came to his house?

How should he have acted in order to appear as if he wasn't "looking" for an argument?

Why is it that anytime someone challenges the police they are described that way?

He was well within his rights, and that's a good thing to defend. But he went about it a little more aggressively than necessary of you ask me.

The fat frick threatened to jerk his arse out of his own house and he was aggressive?

This. Also, there is no law I know of which states a cop has to show ANY ID, much less 3 forms. Less Maury, more reading.

I'm pretty sure a cop has to identify themselves to someone who they do not suspect of a crime.

I'm curious too. Does a cop have to provide you with ID(outside of a uniform) if you ask? Badge, or any other form?

I was wrong. After doing a little more digging it's a state-by-state issue. I was looking at the federal level since the guy in the video made claims about some unnamed USSC verdict. Trying to find a site with state-by-state info.

I said I'm glad he defended his rights, why are you getting all upset?

Answering the door with a camera already implies to me, the viewer, that he was looking for this reaction.

The cop was thrown off by the camera, unsettling him, which could have caused him to react like that.

Again, to reiterate, we need people defending their home and their rights. I don't think tge homeowner did anything wrong.

I turn on my phone now every time I get pulled over. I'd be recording this instance as well.

I learned the hard way that when nothing is recorded it's the officers' word vs. yours.

a camera says i want to protect myself against jackbooted thug tactics.

I film EVERY encounter with the police.

Maybe it's a good idea. I guess it neutralizes the power trip the cop might be on.
