I don't know what's going on in TV or Internet news but in print news the MSM has shifted gears. The election is over and the GOP guy won. They tried connecting it to Trump with mixed results. Now papers like USA, NYT and Wapo are shocked, amazed, mortified, etc. that the conservatives think the whole thing is funny.
They run snippets from Rush mocking it (which he did all week). They have examples of republican officials mockingly saying 'our office is a beat down free zone'.
Then they run interviews from MSM reporters who fear for their safety since the public is viewing the incident with amusement instead of horror.
What say you?

What's funny is that they keep unintentionally reinforcing the narrative that Republicans are strong ,masculine ,decisive winners and that Democrats are hyper-critical , weak, effete losers. If they were smart they'd bury it.

Everybody just needs to realize the following; (1) left-wing thugs created violence that forced Trump to cancel a Chicago rally in 2016. what I found humorous was the reporter was so surprised that the candidate did that to him after he had told him no. It was almost like he had never paid physically for not abiding by others wishes. Also the reporter had major quiver voice.

This incident was an embarrassment to the individual, not the party. And it happened too close to the election to have any impact. A huge number of votes had already been cast.

The one thing I'm getting from these narratives is that the writers are not faking their indignation. When they complain about Melania's expensive clothes they realize that rich Dems wear expansive clothes. They are just playing the class warfare card.
