Hot 17y olds?
Not saying hot 17y olds are okay (definitely rape), but 100ys ago 17y old would be on their second baby.

We had a 15 year old family friend come on a vacay with us to babysit and we were at the beach quite a bit. She was definitely a woman where it mattered. Very much a kid still but biologically she was ready for reproduction.

You are being cryptic. You have to apply the law equally. If 17 is the age of consent then I can't say "well if you are old you can't do it" because I personally disagree with it.

We need better classifications for sex offenders.
Like some go on the dirtbag list and some go on the child rapist list.

I don't mind them getting in trouble for it (although there certainly are outrageous examples where punishment doesn't fit the crime).
I just want society to do a better job separating the true dangers from the sleaze. Some 25 year old who your 16 year old daughter thinks is cute is not the type of threat I'm most concerned with.
And obviously it's ridiculous when we put 18 year old dudes on sex offender lists for having sex with their girlfriends that are 16 or 17.

has that slowed over time or never really quite there? I guess when your life expectancy is 45 you have babies at 17?

I don't know. Everything about the place is going to seem a little creepy now, although honestly I doubt the huge majority of the country has any idea about this "scandal."
We tend to lose perspective on here. I would think they should rebrand, but I don't know if that's really necessary or not.
