I like how its always been a policy except when Obama came in to try and change it and even then his policy still had yet to be fully implemented, and now simply because Trump's name is attached to the repeal do these nuts jump up and start screaming. I guess there hasn't been much for them to protest recently so they needed this to keep their protest skills fresh.

Take issue with the guy holding the "Everyone Deserves To Serve" sign. No, not everyone deserves to serve. The armed forces weed out people all the time before they get on the bus to basic

Saw a news segment claiming Trump said he was "going to protect the LBGTQ" and he was "eating his words" now.

I really don't have a problem with anyone serving, matter of fact I think it's time to institute a mandatory 2 year service for all high school graduates/dropouts 18 years and older. but you're going to be treated and placed according to you're having a penis or a vagina. You will not be allowed to play dress up, you will be allowed to serve in any capacity you are able to qualify for with out modifying the training requirements. you will not be giving any special medical treatments outside of need for life and health.
If you cannot abide by the rules, you will serve your remaining 2 years service requirements in the labor force on national infrastructure maintenance and repair. after your service you are afforded the opportunity to continue your service under regular enlistments, the some may qualify for officer training and education, or you may choose to walk away but everyone will do their time.
But that's just me. And I know a lot of people say not everyone is cut out for the military, some people you don't want fighting next to you. Well there's all kinds of jobs to do in the military. he frick ups will find themselves taking cave of the shite no one else likes to do, or like I said rotated into the work of fixing this country's infrastructure. Which BTW, would also be staffed with the abled body welfare recipients.

I suspect the vast majority of us (had we come to have been born) would like the world better today if the Germans had prevailed.
