I agree. IMO, you should lose all the rights of a private business if you have a government contract. If you work with intelligence or defense, then you definitely should. At this point, Google is essentially an extension of the NSA.

So, to clarify, you're championing big government intrusion into private business? Interesting
There is pretty comvicng evidence that Google is a government created entity.

What power does Gooble have? You just shut them off and let them rot.

I agree but Amazon is also right there. People seem to forget Bezos has a 600 million dollar contract with the CIA. I wonder what thats about? Hmmm , lets ask Alexa ......

It seems they are all for the greedy capitalist pigs as long as those capitalist pigs share their political views and brainwash people with propaganda of which the libs approve.
Oh. Well, it also seems that you're all for capitalism until it doesn't share your political views and pushes information you don't like.
It's great to see all the "conservatives" on the board support this, though.

It's for an unclassified private cloud environment and isn't limited to the CIA.

These tech firms needs to be held accountable for importing dangerous people from the orient to do their jobs, instead of hiring americans.

Simply Look up Google and the CIA. You'll find plenty to read.

As much as I love Peter Theil, trust the market. A competitor of Google is going to rail on them for their abandonment of "free speech" and eventually pass them up.

Thiel sounds like a patriot and he certainly known the Silicon Valley landscape. Give the man a coat.

When your priority is to censor anything that poses a threat to left wing politics yet fail to grant ISIS and pedophiles the same immediate censorship, there's a serious fricking problem.
i thought conservatives didn't want their government picking winners and losers?

Standard Oil was broken up and was a lot smaller threat to the freedom, liberty and prosperity than Google, Amazon, Apple and Microsoft. Also they has less of a dominate position in their industry.
Government has a legitimate role to stop dangerous and undemocratic monopolies. That's where freedom lives.
