So Trump's Administration can multi-task? Who knew.

It's like he has experience making 100's of decisions a day that affect a billion dollar company. Interesting.

here's the thing about that:

You can't simultaneously claim that crowd size is important enough for the press to report on,

and that it is only silly trivia that the President should be ignoring.

You aren't intellectually honest if you do this.

TPP would've increased US influence in the region, weakened China's, and on top of that add jobs in the US.

Stupid to oppose it but that's par for the course now.

I don't think it's important now either way.

Our lame duck president was too busy golfing to worry about getting his shiet done. More legacy down the drain.

The most important part is that he did what he said he would.

Trump has done more in his inauguration weekend than O did in 8 years.

In fairness, his statement was short on substantive points to rebut.

I'll rebut. It wouldn't have added jobs and I don't give a frick about having influence all over the world.

How do you know it wouldn't have added jobs?

Also, you realize influence around the world is important for trade and creating jobs right?

How? It would have increased CORPORATE influence and power at the expense of governments and regular citizens.

Our liberals have been riled up about this for two days now. I've noticed some new liberals have come on the board in the past few days to whine and complain.

Hard to rebut an argument that is framed in would have.

Would have.

Would have not.

Would have.

Would have not.

Some of us choose the let academics argue what might be, and actually concentrate on what is.

And I'm not even trying to be a smart arse about this. Coming from a huge Trump supporter, who could have easily supported Rand Paul, I'm telling you, people like you on the right partially caused the phenomenon known today as Trump.

I thought conservatives and big business types were all about trade agreements.

I hate that conservatives now equate with crony capitalists. No wonder y'all think I'm super liberal.

The framers of TPP may have considered corporate America's goals, but there is legitimacy to the argument that they did not consider America's manufacturing and blue collar workers.

When they say "America's best interest"....they need to specify which Americans. What is good for the ruling class is often not good for the rank and file.

It's clear what group Trump represents (or claims to represent).
