Just got Driectv over the weekend. They gave me the NFL ticket for free.

Can I call and cancel and get a refund too? Haha

That's what my friends that still have Directv have.

Free for the first two years of a two year contract. Contract expires, call to cancel and they''ll give you another 2 years free.

That seems like a dumb business decision.

In the era of cord-cutting, its smart to give people an option other than cancelling entirely.

If you're going to force the NFL Sunday Ticket on your customers (look at the new customer 2-year agreement. It's free, but you have to lock in a 2-year deal, and it's much more expensive the 2nd year), it's a smart move to allow you to head off potential litigation later on.

I'm sure their stockholders and advertisers will be super happy with this.

The advertisers won't care, except for those that bought for NFL games

Stockholders will likely be pleased- a good PR move like this is likely to bring in more new customers

Hey arse Hat. Conservatives are tired of being labeled as bigots, racists, misogynist snd homophobes by everyone we disagree with on the loony Left. That's really what this is about. It's not about the little protest. The protest is just the straw that broke the camel's back. We were fed up when we voted for Trump. Now, we are fed the frick up with athletes, actors, sports leagues, Hollywood, ESPN, BLM, ANTIFA and the MSM being baby back bitches; telling us how wrong we are and that they are offended, oppressed and held down by the whicked white boogie man. Why don't you bitches take some personal fricking responsibility for your problems? Oh, that's right, your leaders don't, so why should you?

So what are you bitching about exactly? Conservatives rejecting the left wing politicization of the NFL and responding by taking their dollar and own time somewhere else? Gosh, the horror of those blast right wingers!

They don't want the NFL's problem to be their problem.

Refund Sunday Ticket or risk the customer cancelling DirecTV entirely? If they're already pissed enough to cancel Sunday Ticket, it wouldnt be a stretch to say they'd be willing to switch to cable or Dish
