With mid terms coming up and control of the US Senate in play if you think Ebola has not been talked about by political ops of both sides I can't help you.

I'm seeing a lot of similarities. And as for the OP, in 1970 no one in the US died of AIDS. So, when the first one died a few years later we could have said 'well, it's only one.'

This disease is just getting started. It may piddle out. It may be horrible. One thing I know for sure... I don't believe anything I'm told by the govt.
