Instead, the people YOU support tell the police to do nothing and abandon the general population to the mob.

When a nation, ANY nation, abandons it's people to the mob, then, one can and should expect violence. And, the blame for the violence will be squarely on the leaders who abandoned their responsibilities.

And let's be honest here. I'm being kind. Because not only has the left abandoned the citizens to the mob, the left will actively DEFEND the mob if the citizens try to deal with it themselves.

This is typical of leftism throughout history. It's nothing new.
