I read somewhere that plans are to keep the 26 year old limit to stay on parents' plan, no preexisting condition refusals, and allowing companies to cross state lines. This I am good with.

It's like trying to put toothpaste back into the tube at this point.
But it's not just rate increases. Individual plans have to meet the ACA standards even if you buy them outside the exchange. Repeal the essential coverage requirements and policyholders will be allowed to purchase their old plans, which are a lot more affordable.

Why do we have to replace it at all? Why can't we just repeal it and revert back to the old system?
