For Spicer to say that Manafort played a "very limited" role for a "very limited" time is just fricking absurd. The fact they keep stating utterly false information that is easily verifiable as untrue is extremely damaging. This admistration is losing credibility on a daily basis. The only people who give him an ounce of trust are his diehard supporters and even they are become less credulous.

One of the more notable things to happen today was Spicer's rewrite of history regarding Manafort (limited role) and Flynn (campaign volunteer- probably phone banked and canvassed throughout Moscow and Ankara) -- that's something you only do if you're worried there's something behind the rumors about those guys.
