I haven’t seen one person on this board dismiss Isis.
lots of posters, are you kidding me? and conspiracy tin foil hat references and jokes...give me a break. i don't necessarily blame them for that gut reaction given it's a white guy, but if you look at things dispassionately it's pretty high up on the list of why he did this.

bahrain and Dubai...as far as land goes, but enlighten me world traveler. i guess you assume i'm illiterate though if i stay on twitter i will be.
honestly, if having traveled to Dubai doesn't arouse a modicum of suspicion on your part, then it's pride or you're a complete fricking moron. since i know the latter isn't true, i'm guessing you don't want to "be wrong" or you aren't getting what i'm saying
your wife is Filipino, you travel to Jordan and UAE (and who knows if it was just Dubai) and shortly after that you gun down a bunch of people in an exceptionally well planned attack for which ISIS took credit not once, not twice, but three times a lady...I think investigators are probably going to follow up on that, no?

Hail said it’s 100% not Isis? Then he’s just as bad as bamarep saying it’s 100% Isis or a staunch liberal. Until the investigation is over and a motive is uncovered no one knows, and assuming is stupid

That's sick. No one wants it, but there is more to the story PERIOD.
Maybe research how many on twitter celebrated the death of Trump supporters. They are the sick ones.

Nothing wrong with discussing the possibility.
A faction of y'all get upset when it is mentioned. I think if it turned out to be ISIS some of you would be upset

anyone saying 100% anything is a fool...if they actually really have that level of conviction.
yeah he said it this morning as i recall

Its incredible how badly they want it.
why would someone want it to be isis? i can see someone wanting it to be a liberal or conservative. the Orlando shooter was a muslim, and that was a point of interest given trump's stance on "the ban" and immigration and that the victims were homosexuals. in that instance i can see "wanting it to be isis"
here, it would just be the answer to a question.

cruises
A lot of jihadists on cruise ships. My parents in their mid-70s are cruise ship jihadis. They just got back from Alaska and are doing a trip through the Suez Canal early next year. Maybe I should search their RV for bump stock assault rifles.

Jordan and UAE
These are not ISIS hotbeds. Jordan is an extremely liberal Muslim country and I don't think that ISIS is in either one. This is a stretch. He would be more likely to be radicalized over the internet.

No one is suggesting he went to the united Arab emirates on a cruise where he became radicalized
Could be he went there to meet someone. Forgive me for thinking that this guy may have successfully avoided detection because he was careful. Maybe he went there to have fun, a lot of people do, but they don't usually shoot 500 people in a metropolitan area shortly thereafter
I suspect he avoided detection for reasons beyond his control. How were they supposed to flag him? But given the detail and organization he strikes me as the type to make an effort

True but I would imagine isis has operatives or connections there
Could be a wild goose chase but CNN is reporting it because its not irrelevant given some of the details

Jordan and UAE aren't Isis hotbeds though
Fairly westernized countries

It said his girlfriend was on 9 of the cruises. It might be interesting as to which trips she was/ was not on. If he left her behind on all trips which included conflict countries, it might be more intriguing.

Contempt, prior to investigation. Usually a situation tat exists with educated persons. Which makes me question education.
It seems reasonable to me to not jump to conclusions. And to not dismiss any possibility.
