They are in too deep. He could wipe his dick across their wives lips on national tv and they would light his cigarette after.

Over. The emotional investment in him reminded me of Obots.

If his only accomplishment is keeping Hillary out of office, it's still a victory.

This is the truth because Hillary is awful. Obama's third term would be better than HRC as POTUS. She's nuts. Obama's not nuts.

If he turns on us, we'll turn on him. Won't happen though, because from what I can see of his intended Policy...it's going to work. The people he is putting in place will be the ones running the show. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

The only potential problem will be how he reacts to the Leftist tantrum. If that gets out of hand (blood in the streets), all bets are off. 50-50% on that. But only at the start. After he dumps all that Public School money into the Urban Church Charter Schools...the danger of racial trouble goes waaay down.

Smart guy...hires smart people.

I believe many have already said that they will never turn on him, no matter what happens.

At least it is known people on the right can actually disparage our party leaders. Democrats never turn on their leaders.

Tough to tell.

They can blame Congress for quite a while and Poliboarders have a strong prideful streak which tends to make them want to go down with the ship.

Personally I hope they enjoy the new conservatism. I don't want some whacko like Cruz ever getting control of the party ever again. I much prefer the Liberal Lite we'll be getting now.

This x1000

Honest answer is I will call him out when needed. I won't go on bended knee and suck the kool aid from his dick like the left has done for eight years.

Trump will be held accountable by me.

1.5 is close but I took the over. He (and any president really) can live off the "but he JUST got there" or "It's ONLY been x months!" for 18 months, no problem.

But I think 2.5 is the more interesting bet. By mid 2019 loads of people will be sick of things not being like they imagined for whatever reason (empty promises, etc.) and will start being disappointed and vocal about it. This is a reality for every president to some degree or another.

3.5 years from now they'll forget all of those things and tell themselves whatever necessary to vote for him again.

Also interesting and worth noting, he's starting from behind, way behind. His transitional approval rating is 44% according to Gallup. Clinton was 68, Bush was 61, and Obama was 83 on their first day of office as a comparison. I'm guessing it's around 92% on the PT board.
