quote:Yes he did, you moron.
The NOAA literally had to correct the guy
He did not
Here was his quote: LINK
quote:
This was the originally projected path of the Hurricane in its early stages. As you can see, almost all models predicted it to go through Florida also hitting Georgia and Alabama. I accept the Fake News apologies!
And, the NOAA was projecting the freaking hurricane as potentially hitting Alabama as recent as Sept. 2nd.

Look at the slimy trash ignoring the NOAA advisories reinforcing Trumps original tweet.
This story, as usual, is about the media’s failures, not Trumps.

so who is making it controversial?
the media
Get it right, or get out of here
Who else is tweeting about it?

He tweeted about it after the world realized it wasn't going that way. Instead of just being like "oh yeah I was going off of old info" he makes it into a big deal. Just funny to me.
Exactly.
Just let one go every once in a while.

Yes he did, you moron.
And NOAA, for the first time in their history, put out a tweet essentially saying please don't listen to this Bozo
Just quit while you're behind, dude

Trump’s my guy, but that graphic is a wind probability chart, not the projected path of the hurricane.

On one hand I wish Trump would just let it go and move on. On the other watching progs lose their minds over something so minuscule is entertaining ?
Seems like Trump is fixated on this issue.

The NOAA was posting advisories showing SE Alabama in the TS cone hours after the Sunday tweet you retarded frick.
This has been posted several times, yet you ignore it because you are a dishonest pos.

Yes, tropical storm and hurricane force winds.

Don Lemon is so butthurt over this. It’s all he’s been talking about
Posted on 9/5/19 at 9:19 pm to Vacherie Saint
I'm not ignoring the non-hurricane path projection that trump didn't even use to try and make a point, but you are ignoring the actual tweet the NOAA sent out in direct response to trump
Quit being angry, please don't beat your kids tonight
It's not their fault

Did you think the storm would still be a hurricane 600 miles inland?
Dumb shite
Dumb shite

Why do you refuse to acknowledge NOAA's direct response tweet about trump's outdated, inaccurate, fake news?
Alabama didn't get any damage, dude, which they knew before the fake news tweet
Hence the response
Deal with it

I don’t really care what some some hack at the NOAA said in a press release. Maybe he should have checked the information his own agency was putting out first.
Their advisories were showing SE Alabama in the TS probability path the day after the tweet. Any individual monitoring the NOAA advisories that day would have drawn the same conclusion as Trump.
Deal with it loser. Why is the media pretending like this didn’t happen? I know why.

That's not the tweet that started this whole shite show, you imbecile
And it was a video. And in the video he very clearly says “The original projection had it crossing Florida, hitting Georgia, and going into the Gulf, but then it turned and went north.”
Watch it, you fricking retard. He clearly uses past tense, and then clarified that it turned north.
And where’s this supposed tweet from the NOAA contradicting him?
I bet they don’t actually say he’s wrong because again, his entire statement about Alabama was in PAST TENSE, and again, the NOAA themselves were saying Alabama WAS at risk on Sept. 2nd.
I swear it’s so easy to make you look like an idiot suffering from extreme TDS.
But I’m sure you won’t watch the video or post the NOAA tweet and keep trying to spin your bullshite.

I’m not back tracking to double check which chart but the outer edge of the last graphic in the thread is areas with 5% chance of 39+ mph winds
If talking about that one, than yes, I guess a tiny corner of bama had a tiny chance of hitting the minimum threshold of TS winds. I’m not sure anyone would truly characterize that on a practical level as being in the path though it may by the strictest technical sense qualify

The tweet where he held up the board with the sharpie marks was this one:
Here's his tweet.. Learn your tenses, idiot
National Weather Service, 20 minutes later:
quote:
Hurricane Dorian will not hit Alabama, said the National Weather Service on Sunday, contradicting comments made by President Trump earlier.
"Alabama will NOT see any impacts from #Dorian," said the NWS office in Birmingham, Alabama in a Twitter post Sunday. "We repeat, no impacts from Hurricane #Dorian will be felt across Alabama. The system will remain too far east."
Then he tripled down (yay, there's your past tense!)
quote:Just complete, uninformed, ignorant of the situation, gaslighting bullshite
