For EVEN the most well-intentioned, “bleeding heart liberal,” at some point one must have to realize just the basic lifeboat dilemma/ethics. We keep taking them all into our lifeboat and we all drown. This is so basic, so fundamental. I don’t understand how, even with good intentions, true liberals cannot fathom the utter destruction which this influx will cause. We cannot handle this.

Let's examine your dual hypocrisy hypothesis.
If you vote for the left, you knowingly vote for an unmitigated border. You are responsible for the policies that allow those people to come here. You vote differently, then the border is secured and those mass migrating here turn around. They don't really have any other option.
If you are against abortion, then you vote for ending child murder. There are multiple options to not having a child than abortion. Adoption, birth control, raising the child. Ergo, it's not apples to apples.
My support of ending abortion does not cause harm to anyone. It protects babies en utero. Your support (royal "you") of open borders does in fact, cause harm to thousands. Women and children being sold off to sex slavery. Massive increase in drug trafficking resulting in an epidemic in overdoses and specifically the rise in fentanyl overdoeses. Increased violence in border towns and an uptick in violence perpetrated by illegals.
What if i were to tell you, that 90% of unborn babies with down syndrome were aborted in the US? What if i were to tell you, that American abortion culture isn't any different than Joseph Mengele's solution to prenatal child "deformities"? What if i told you, that the abortion cult's views align 100% with the Nazi's "angel of death"?
